Hello
Please Don't Hurt the Turtle, Good
Buddy

"It all starts with a SMILE"
We've all seen hit animals on the highway. David
Shepherd, a biology professor at
Southeastern Louisiana University had seen
enough of them to try a most unusual
experiement. He put rubber reptiles on
roadways and observed 22,000 motorists
reactions. I'll tell you the results in a
moment...
You’ve said, “I’ll believe that when I see
it,” haven’t you? We all have. But do you
realize that we always had that completely
backward? Wise people have known
throughout history, what science has been
proving for the last ninety years: the
correct way to phrase that thought
is, “I’ll see it when I believe it.”
You intuitively know that your paradigms
and your beliefs are vitally important. That’s
why you have joined millions of
others in making the self-help industry one
of the world’s largest; like me, you also
see the value in personal growth and
motivation. We all agree with Zig Ziegler,
who was reported to reply to the challenge
that motivation doesn’t last with, “That’s
true, but neither does bathing. That’s why
we recommend it daily.”
But the notion that our beliefs are
important is being proven, literally, by
quantum physics. Your beliefs, we are now
certain, directly impact your material
world. In the most literal sense, you
create the world.
One need only examine one of the most
famous experiments in quantum physics, the
two-slit experiment to see this. Scientists
have long known that light
appears either as a photon or a wave, but
this experiment shows that light actually
takes the form in which it is perceived. That's
right – the observer (you) actually
creates light’s form!
And our perceptions are, after all, merely
reflections of what we believe. Your words
and thoughts betray your paradigms and
contexts, revealing what you truly believe,
but it goes much further than that. As
proven in the two-split experiment, what
you see when you open your eyes is actually
very subjective and can be traced directly
back to what you believe you’re going to
see.
So if you change your beliefs, you can
change what you perceive.
Does that mean if you believed there wasn’t
a wall in your bedroom, you could walk
right through it? According to quantum
physics, yes. But let’s not get carried
away because if that type of change were so
simple we’d all be walking through walls.
Though in a literal sense you are
already “walking through walls” because you
are creating empty space (without a wall in
it) simply through your perceptions. Look
to the empty space on your left. There is
no wall there, correct? You know this is
true and believe it to the core of your
existence. Therefore, you are able to walk
right through the space.
In two weeks I'll share how you can use
this information to be happier than you
ever thought possible.
Shepherd, by the way, found that very few
of the animals hit on the roadways are done
so accidentally. While 87% of motorists
swerved to avoid them, 6% went out of their
way to hit them. The most extreme case was
a trucker who crossed the center line, went
into the opposite lane, and drove on the
shoulder of the road. To kill a turtle.
A turtle?
See you in two weeks.

Some Humor to Help You Smile
While shopping in a supermarket, a woman
was pushing a cart with a screaming baby in
it. As she went from aisle to aisle, she
kept repeating, "Stay calm, Kathy. Don't
cry, Kathy. Don't scream, Kathy."
Another woman watched in admiration and
then went over and remarked, "You certainly
have a lot of patience with little Kathy."
"What do you mean?" snapped the
woman. "I'm Kathy."
"A child is a curly, dimpled lunatic."
