Thank You for My Brain!
November 22, 2004
Hello

Happy Thanksgiving week!

I hope you find time to, not only be
grateful this week, but also to express
it. Just as Dr. Kuhn says in his
"Thought for the Week," it's easy to take
things for granted.

By now you've received your free copy
of Living Happily Over Laughter
(Instructions arrived via email, yesterday,
telling you how to download your copy!)

I promised you a free copy of this hot, new
book from Dr. Kuhn...and you got it!

Now, will you do me a favor? Will you write
me with your thoughts and reactions? And
will you allow me to use your thoughts and
reactions as a testimonial? Thank you!

By the way, as a newsletter subscriber, you
are eligable to take Dr. Kuhn's E-Course,

Dr. Cliff Kuhn's Thought for the Week

Of course, it's natural to talk of gratitude
this week. Why should I disappoint?

We're lucky to have a holiday like Thanksgiving
which, sort of, forces us to celebrate and
be grateful. I write "forces us" because, if
you're like me, you're so focused, most days,
on what you're doing or trying to accomplish
that you don't take time out to recognize
the joys of life and celebrate them.

That habit is in direct contradiction to your
doctor's orders - one of my Fun Commandments is
to celebrate everything! Thanksgiving is a great
time to remember that Commandment.

Celebrating everything is important because it
sets free our sense of play, allowing us to
feel less pain, be more creative, communicate
more effectively, and lower our stress levels
almost instantly.

How do we celebrate everything?

We cultivate gratitude. Have you ever said,
or written down, that you were grateful for
the oxygen you're breathing, the chair you're
sitting in, and the fact that your brain
functions? You might say, "Why should I?" I
say, "Why wouldn't you?"

Gifts such as these are provided for us,
almost every day, whether we're grateful for
them or not! So, given the choice (and knowing
what an impact gratitude can have upon your
health and success) why wouldn't you choose to
acknowledge those gifts with your gratitude?

Try it today!

My Humor for the Week

In soviet Russia, there were only two
TV channels. Channel One was propaganda.
Channel Two consisted of a KGB officer
telling you, "Turn back at once to Channel
One!"

"I told my psychiatrist that everyone hates
me. He said I was being ridiculous;
everyone hasn't met me yet."
Rodney Dangerfield

Yours for fun, Greg Kuhn
