Why my kids don't eat vegetables

My family was driving home from town one evening and along the way we passed through a stretch of farmland. All three of my children (ages 8-11) simultaneously began to voice their displeasure at the smell that assaulted us along the way. "WhoFARTED??" "Groooosss!!" "What is that SMELL???"

I broke in, "kids, calm down! Nobody farted! It's simply the brussle sprout fields we're driving by." From the back seat, I heard my 10 year old daughter say under her breath, "Yeah...and THAT'S why we don't eat our vegetables."
